Man pulled from Lake Simcoe dies in hospital: police

A 49-year-old man who was pulled from Lake Simcoe has died in hospital, York Regional Police tell CityNews.

Police say he fell out of a boat and a passerby pulled him from the water at Sibbald Point Provincial Park shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday.

He was without vital signs and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
