Judge Names Katherine Jackson Permanent Guardian Of Michael’s Children

Michael Jackson’s three children will be raised by his mother.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff appointed Katherine Jackson as the permanent guardian of the King of Pop’s kids at a hearing Monday.
Mrs. Jackson was named by her son as his first choice in a 2002 will filed with the court and the 79-year-old is the only one to formally seek custody following Jackson’s death at age 50 on June 25.
M.J.’s ex-wife Deborah Rowe reached a custody agreement with his mother last week.
As part of the ruling, Mrs. Jackson was also granted a monthly allowance from her son’s estate.
