Police searching for missing 87-year-old man

TORONTO, Ont. – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man.

Reginald Ryan, 87, was last seen on Wednesday, at 7:42 p.m., in the Kingston Road/Eastwood Avenue area.

Ryan left his doctors office near Royal York and Bloor around 5:45 p.m. and police say he somehow ended up on the east end of the city later that night.

Paul Ryan, Reginald’s son, told 680News his father phoned his mother from a convenience store pay phone on Kingston road and told her that he was lost and would be on his way home after getting directions.

Ryan was driving a 1999 grey four-door Buick LeSabre, Ontario license plate AFEF 341.

He is described as white, 6’2”, 185 lbs., medium build, thin face, short grey hair.

Police are concerned for his safety.
