BRAMPTON – The provinces Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a man was shot by an undercover police officer.

The incident happened outside a house on Velvet Grass Lane, located in the Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive area.

Peel Regional Police confirmed to 680News that officers were involved in a shooting in Brampton.

No details have been released on how serious the injuries are or why police were at the location.

The provinces Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate.
