Man faces charges after altercation near Finch & Hwy. 27

TORONTO, Ont. – A 28-year-old man is facing charges after two men were stabbed in the city’s northwest end.
Toronto police Const. Wendy Drummond told 680News officers were called to a home on Halesia Drive, located in Finch Avenue and Highway 27 area, at around 10 a.m. Monday.
“We have had two people go to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third person is in custody,” said Const. Drummond.
She said the home was being used as a rooming house.
It is alleged that the accused approached a 44-year-old man while he was in his bedroom and began stabbing the him in the face and stomach.
The accused the allegedly left the victim’s room and located a second victim, a 62-year-old man, in another part of the home and began stabbing him about the head.
The victims escaped from the home and called police.
Police say the accused was located a short distance away and was arrested.
The two victims were sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Ahmed Abdurahaman Ahmed of Toronto faces several charges including two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.
