Brampton shooting leaves one dead

BRAMPTON, Ont. – Peel Regional Police are investigating following a deadly shooting in Brampton, Ontario.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m., Saturday night, at a home near Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway.
Police say 23-year-old Darren McLean was found at his home with serious gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Residents in the area had to leave their homes as police conducted their investigation.
There is no word on suspects at this time.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have information on the shooting, or the events leading up to it, to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
