Body found in woodlot near Sarnia is that of missing teacher

LAMBTON COUNTY, Ont. – Provincial police have confirmed the body found Wednesday morning in a woodlot in Lambton County near Sarnia is that of Noelle Paquette.
The 27-year-old went missing after she left a New Year’s Eve party.
Her death is being treated as suspicious pending the results of an autopsy in London, Ont.
Her disappearance led to a massive search.
On Wednesday morning, a body was located on a rural property around 10:30 a.m. on Mandaumin Road between Petrolia Line and Rokeby Line.
Paquette was a school teacher.
“She was a fantastic teacher who truly made a difference in my son’s life,” one woman wrote on the Facebook page Prayers for Noelle Marie Paquette.
“She taught my little cousin and I know how much she enjoyed having her as a teacher,” another user wrote.
