Man convicted of confining and sexually assaulting teen boy in Nova Scotia sentenced Friday

A 48-year-old man in Nova Scotia has been convicted of confining and repeatedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy for over a week was sentenced Friday to 10 years and four months in jail.
The teen’s mother said her son is tormented by what David James LeBlanc did to him.
“He still has scars on his wrist and when he fell asleep at night with the jains on, when he was chained up for three days, the hand had turned purple and the chain had cut into it.”
LeBlanc’s sentence includes three years of jail for a separate, earlier case involing child pornography and sexual intereference with two boys, aged two and five.
