Something has definitely been percolating between a certain Canadian pop star and a popular Canadian coffee chain.

The collaboration between Justin Bieber and Tim Hortons has officially been unveiled, Wednesday, and it includes new menu items — including limited-edition Timbits — and merchandise, inspired for his love of the brand.

“I grew up on Tim Hortons and it’s always been something close to my heart, ” Bieber says.

Customers will be able to get their first taste of the new ‘Timbiebs Timbits’ in chocolate white fudge, sour cream chocolate chip and birthday cake flavours at participating Canadian and U.S. locations, starting on Nov. 29. In addition, some Timbiebs merchandise will also be available for purchase.

So why Timbits? Bieber says they are his favourite thing on the menu. He teamed up with Tims director of culinary innovation to come up with the unique and tasty creations.

Tims chief marketing officer Hope Bagozzi says “what’s amazing about working with Justin is he has an authentic, lifelong relationship with Tims and he was so invested in working on Timbiebs and our future plans together.”

Bieber hinted about his collaboration with Tims on his Instagram account Monday night.

In his post, captioned “Working on something,” the Canadian heartthrob’s tattooed arm was seen reaching for what appeared to be some costumed jewellery on a table. A red Tim Hortons cup was predominantly featured in the photograph.

There was also note in the picture with the email address “justinbieber@timhortons.com.

Anyone who emailed the address got the following response: “If you’ve made it here by now, you deserve to know that something special is brewing between me and Tims in Canada and the U.S. More to come…Thanks, JB.”

Tim Hortons Instagram account did comment on the photo with the eyes emoji, further adding to the hype of Wednesday’s announcement.

This isn’t the first time the coffee chain has partnered up with a Canadian star. Back in 2019, Shawn Mendes had his own special edition cups.
