69-year-old woman critically injured in Mississauga crash

A 69-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga.
Peel police were called to the Danton Promenade and Derry Road area, near Winston Churchill Boulevard, around 7:15 a.m. on Thursday.
One of the vehicles crashed into a barrier wall.
Paramedics initially said the woman, the driver of one of the vehicles, was rushed to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Her condition has since been downgraded to life-threatening. She was the only person in the car.
Paramedics also said two women in their 60s, who were in the second car, were assessed at the scene for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
