      A body was discovered in a creek in Deer Park Tuesday. Toronto Police are treating the death as suspicious.

      Toronto police are investigating after a body was found in a creek in Midtown Toronto, in the Deer Park neighbourhood, Tuesday morning.

      Police said they were called to a nature trail near Yonge Street and Heath Street East around 8:45 a.m.

      The body was spotted in the water by a passerby who notified the authorities.

      The Marine Unit was called in to remove the body. The coroner’s office has been called in to investigate.

      A cause of death has not been determined, but police are treating the discovery as suspicious.
