Construction worker critically hurt after falling off roof in Etobicoke

A construction worker is in critical condition after falling off a roof in Etobicoke on Friday morning.

The incident happened in the Kipling Avenue and Rathburn Road area shortly before 11 a.m.

Police say the worker fell approximately 15 feet.

Paramedics confirmed they transported a man to a nearby trauma centre with critical injuries.

The Ministry of Labour has been called to investigate.
