A portion of Dufferin Street in Liberty Village will be closed for an indefinite period following a partial sewer collapse in the area.
Dufferin Street is closed both ways between at Saskatchewan Road and Liberty Street while access is also restricted at Springhurst Avenue.
The emergency closure will also affect several TTC routes in the area.
The 501 Queen streetcars will not be stopping between Queen Street West and the Dufferin Gate Loop. Instead streetcars will be extended east and turn back at Roncesvalles Avenue.

The 504A King streetcars will not be stopped between King Street West and Dufferin Gate Loop. They will divert to the Fleet Street Loop in both directions using Bathurst and Fleet streets.

The 29 Dufferin and 929 Dufferin Express buses won’t be making stops between King Street West and Liberty Street as well as all stops south of Liberty Street. Both buses will divert from Dufferin Street along King Street West to Strachan Avenue, down to East Liberty Street and Liberty Street before getting back onto Dufferin Street.

City officials say they are working to create a bypass that will allow the sewer to operate around the collapse.
Crews will be dispatched to the area for further investigation on Monday after which a timeline for the closure and repairs will be known.
