A woman sustained an injury to her face after a slashing at Spadina subway station.

Constable Alex Li tells CityNews that the incident was a “slashing” as opposed to a stabbing.
Multiple suspects were involved and fled the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
TTC special constables and Toronto medics are both on scene.
Toronto police say there is no risk to public safety at the subway station because of a large police presence in the area.
