Woman dead following two-vehicle crash in Caledon

A woman is dead following a crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer in Caledon.
Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the scene at Charleston Sideroad and St. Andrews Road, east of Highway 10, shortly after 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
Paramedics say a woman was pulled out of a vehicle in critical condition. She was taken to hospital where she later died.
It is believed she was in the car but police have yet to confirm.
There is no word on whether the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured.
Police say the area will be closed to traffic for several hours.
For heavy commercial vehicle traffic, Hwy 9 or King St can be used as alternatives.
