Woman, boy sent to hospital after double stabbing in Scarborough

A woman and a boy are in hospital with injuries following an overnight double stabbing at an apartment in Scarborough.
Emergency crews responded to an apartment building near Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road around 1:30 a.m. Thursday for reports that two people were stabbed.
Officers arrived to find a woman in her 30s with life-threatening injuries and a male youth with non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics say both victims were rushed to hospital in stable condition.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene.
