Section of Bay Street reopens following suspicious package investigation

A section of Bay Street in downtown Toronto has reopened following a suspicious package investigation.

The Emergency Disposal Unit was called to area of Bay Street and Albert Street near Queen Street West just before 9 a.m. on Monday.

The area is near the Eaton Centre and Nathan Phillips Square.

Bay was shut down from Dundas Street West to Albert for the investigation and reopened around 12:30 p.m.

Police have not said what the package contained.
