Suspect arrested after downtown Toronto stabbing

Police say a suspect has been arrested after a stabbing in downtown Toronto on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the Yonge and College streets area at around 1:12 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival officers found an injured man. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, a man in his 40s, was located a short time later and arrested.

Police say there are no outstanding suspects.
