A man in his 50s has been seriously injured following a stabbing in the west end of the city.

A man in his 50s has been seriously injured following a stabbing in the west end of the city.

Toronto police were called to an apartment building in the Lansdowne Avenue and Dupont Street area just before 6 p.m. Thursday for reports of a stabbing.

When they arrived, they located a man suffering from stab wounds.

Paramedics say they transported a man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

In an update on Friday, police say a female suspect has been arrested.

No further details were immediately available.
