Man charged in TTC sex assault

Toronto police have arrested and charged a man who allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old girl on the Queen streetcar on Halloween.

Ganeshan Nandanakumar, 60, was arrested on Feb. 1 and charged with sexual assault.

Police say the girl was sitting down on the eastbound streetcar on Oct. 31, 2012, when the man boarded, stood next to her and sexually assaulted her.

Police believe there may be more victims and have released a photo of the accused.

A court date for Nandanakumar has not yet been set.
