Child, 11, struck by vehicle in city’s east-end

An 11-year-old is being rushed to a trauma centre after he was struck by a vehicle in the city’s east-end.

Paramedics told CityNews the boy is in serious condition.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday near Birchmount Road and Danforth Avenue.

The area was closed off while police conducted their investigation.

There has been no word on charges.
