Sheppard Reopens After Watermain Break

A watermain break shut down Sheppard Avenue in both directions for about two hours on Friday.

The water began to flow on Hawksbury Drive, near Bayview Avenue, around 4:30am.

Police said both the road and nearby sidewalks started to crumble because of the water, and a bus shelter is washed out.
