Police identify man fatally stabbed in Scarborough

A 56-year-old man has died in hospital after a stabbing in Scarborough’s West Hill on Saturday afternoon.

Toronto Police told 680 NEWS that he was stabbed in the chest around 3:30 p.m.

Police identified the victim as Bevis Larmond, 56, of Toronto.

Larmond may have been riding a bicycle in the Lawrence Avenue East and Galloway Road area before he was stabbed, said police.

He was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition.

There is no word on suspects at this time.

Police released these security images of Larmond.

Any witnesses are being asked to contact police.


 

The incident is the city’s 37th homicide case of 2015.
