A person walking through a park in the east end made an awful find Saturday evening.
A man’s body was discovered on a soccer field near Grenoble Drive, in the Don Mills and Eglinton area, around 6:45pm.
Investigators are trying to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
On Friday, contractors removing trash from a townhouse complex on John Garland Blvd., in the Martin Grove and Finch area, discovered a woman’s remains in three garbage bags.
According to area residents, the bags had been sitting there for quite some time, but they thought they were garbage.
Autopsy results indicate the woman, 20-year-old Yasmin Ashareh, was stabbed several times in the neck.
