11-Year-Old Questioned After Boy Is Stabbed

Police have arrested a youngster after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in the Jane-Finch area late Monday afternoon.
The age of the suspect: just 11 years.
Officers spent part of the day scouring some bushes on Driftwood Ave., looking for the weapon.
They finally found what they think was the blade, and it turned out to be a pocket knife.
But while the size may have been small, the damage wasn’t. The teen remains in hospital with a serious and painful stab wound to the shoulder. He’s excepted to recover.
The young offender was taken into custody. He’s currently being questioned but police say he may be too young to be charged under the Criminal Code of Canada.
There’s no word on what led to the incident.
