Beer Bandit

The high price of a 2-4 will drive some beer lovers to extreme measures.

A delivery truck loaded with beer was stolen from outside an Edmonton liquor store earlier this week but the thirsty thief didn’t get very far. He crashed into a parked minivan just three blocks into the heist.

But the accident didn’t stop this beer bandit – he got out of the truck and tried to run off with as many cans as he could carry. He eventually had to drop the beer and was rounded up by a police dog shortly after.

Police should’ve had their eyes out for a simultaneous heists involving a pizza delivery vehicles.

Lobster Crawl

There’s been a happy ending for a lobster named Bubba thanks to a big hearted seven-year-old girl and her family.

The little girl, Myranda Hutchinson, first spotted the crustacean in her local grocery store in Cincinnati and decided to name him Bubba because he was so big – 3.5 kg.

She won the lobster in a contest at the supermarket and decided to contact local zoos and aquariums, but no one wanted him. Myranda’s family finally found a diver who agreed to find Bubba a home off the Atlantic coat.

The family shelled out $280 (US) to have the creature shipped to Maine.
