One Caught, One Sought After Three Stabbed With Ceremonial Sword

York Regional Police have one man in custody and are seeking another, after three people were stabbed with a ceremonial sword on Sunday morning.

An emergency call brought authorities and paramedics to a residence at Hollandview Trail and Bridgenorth Drive in Aurora, after an argument broke out around 3am.

By the time they arrived, three males – aged 18, 21, and 22 – had fled the scene but later walked into hospital for treatment of their wounds. At least two were suffering from serious injuries, but have since been released.

It didn’t take cops long to come up with the names of those believed involved. One, 19-year-old Christopher Blackburn of Aurora, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

But police still don’t know where 20-year-old Hans Christian Gross (top left) of Thornhill is hiding. He’ll be looking at similar charges when they catch up to him.

If you know where he is or can provide more clues about what sparked the incident, call York Police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7141.

Blackburn had a Monday court appearance in Newmarket.
