Do Mats Sundin & Darcy Tucker Blog On MySpace?

This article is more than 5 years old.
A bent arm shows off the muscle he displays on the ice.
He talks about his steak dinner with Daniel Alfredsson.
And he raves about his favourite musician, Peabo Bryson.
That couldn’t really be Leaf chief Mats Sundin’s blog on that MySpace webpage could it?
Turns out it’s not.
Someone has usurped the captain’s image and is using his name, pretending he’s reserved a little bit of cyberspace for himself.
It came as a surprise to the head Leaf.
“I don’t have a web site,” he states affirmatively when cornered with a print out. “Someone’s making fun of me,” he laughs.
Sundin’s not sure who put it up but he wants fans to know – it’s not the real thing.
The same goes for Darcy Tucker, who also wound up with his own bogus bit of false virtual reality.
“Definitely not real,” the Leaf marksman admits, adding he wasn’t even aware it was there. “I can count on my hand the amount of times that I’ve surfed the net.”
But when told women often send in their pictures to be posted on the site, Sundin changed his mind. “I might have to” check them out, he concludes.
But in the end, when it comes to the web, these guys are more interested in shooting at the net than writing for it.
