Anybody can watch television, but not just anyone can do it quite the way Jason Letourneau plans to.
Letourneau is leading a group of Canadians trying to set a new Guinness movie-watching marathon record, a mark that now sits at a little over 114 hours.
The attempt will be known as the Apache Canada’s Numb Bum Movie Marathon.
Apache Canada is an energy exploration company, and will sponsor the record attempt at using as little as possible.
All proceeds from the stunt will benefit the Organ Donation and Transplant Association of Canada.
Letourneau says the plan is to watch 54 movies over five days. A few of the selected titles include “Die Hard,” “X-Men,” and “Spider-Man,” but he promises to sprinkle in a few “chick flicks” as well.
