It’s a city known for Alexander Keiths, amazing music and an historic harbour explosion and now Halifax will have yet another claim to fame.
The East Coast hub is hosting what it’s expecting to be the world’s largest pub crawl Friday night.
Some 3,200 people are expected to cram the 200 or so bars in the downtown area. The city’s high bar-per-capita ratio is source of pride from some residents.
Local officials say there’ll be plenty of extra police on the streets to ensure thing don’t get out of hand.
Since Halifax is looking to go down in the record books for the pub crawl why don’t organizers kill two birds with one stone and go for the world’s largest hangover greasy breakfast buffet as well?
