More Twists In Markham Double Murder

The family of Julie Crocker and that of her estranged husband greeted mourners side-by-side at her visitation inside a Markham Funeral Home on Thursday.

Chris Little has been charged with 1st degree murder in the death of his wife, but the two families have come together, united in disbelief that he’s guilty of the grisly crimes.

“They’re all in there together. They’re all supporting each other,” said family friend Fred Crawford.

“The Little family and the Crocker family are together on the basis they don’t believe this happened, they don’t believe Chris committed the crime,” he adds.

A cousin of Little’s spoke to CityNews off-camera and confirmed that the entire family stands behind him.

Little is also charged with the first degree murder of 33-year-old Paula Menendez.   Both women’s bodies were found inside the Markham home that Little and Crocker owned together.

Radio Sportscaster Rick Ralph is the common denominator in the murder mystery.   He was dating Crocker, and was married to Menendez.   On Thursday he released a statement, saying,    “This is obviously a time of enormous grief for the families of the victims, it is not appropriate for us to comment further.”

Police say they believe the 911 call was made by Little, and a police source tells CityNews the caller claimed he stumbled across the scene, which he thought was a murder suicide.

The investigation continues.
