Raptors Beat Pistons After Dominant Fourth Quarter

The Raptors rallied from a 15-point deficit to beat the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons by a score of 87-84.

Chris Bosh had 18 points and 16 rebounds in the game, while Anthony Parker contributed 21 points. Joey Graham and T.J. Ford also had strong nights, serving up 13 points each.

Not to be outdone, Kris Humphries had 18 rebounds, a career high.

Detroit was missing all-star Chauncey Billups, but the team was still a force to be reckoned with, taking a 69-58 lead into the fourth quarter.

But that’s when the Raptors went on a tear, with a 17-4 run that gave them the lead. Parker’s three-point shot, which put Toronto up 81-79 with 1:44 left in the game, brought the sellout crowd at the Air Canada Centre to its feet.

Richard Hamilton was Detroit’s top scorer with 24 points.

With this win the Raptors are that much closer to securing home-court advantage for the post-season. They need to finish ahead of the Miami Heat to do so.
