A massive fire threatened to wipe out a piece of history in Midland on Tuesday night.
The raging inferno broke out at the Huronia Museum and Ouendat Village, destroying numerous long houses. Several teepees were also damaged at the museum, which exhibits items from the Huron and Ojibway cultures.
No one was injured and there’s no word yet on a cause.
