Cops Seek Stranger Who Followed & Assaulted Teen

She was walking to school when he came up to her. And when he wouldn’t go away, she started to get scared. As it turns out, her instincts were right. Peel Regional Police are on the hunt for a man who followed a 14-year-old girl along Erin Mills Parkway from the Sheridan Mall on Thursday.

It was 8:10am when she first noticed him. He began by coming up to her asking if she wanted to “hang out”. She refused and eventually turned up Dundas St. To her dismay, he was right behind her. He kept returning with one entreaty after another until he finally gave up and began assaulting the terrified teen. She finally escaped him and ran for help.

Now cops want to find him before he gets another youngster in his sights. The suspect is described as:

  • Olive complexion,
  • 25-30,
  • 5’9″,
  • Medium build,
  • Short dark hair dyed on top,
  • Stubble.

His most outstanding feature may be one that’s not so easy to spot. He’s said to have “crooked black teeth.”

Cops discovered he’d been caught on security video at one point during the day and feel that while the pictures are grainy, someone may know who he is. They also believe more than one person saw what happened and they’re urging anyone who was there at the time of the incident to call them. If that’s you, dial (905) 453-3311 ext. 1133 now.
