Oakville Councillor Charged With Assault

An Oakville town councillor has been charged with assault after allegedly shoving a man who rents a home from him.

Halton Regional Police were called to an Oakville residence Sunday for a landlord-tenant dispute. The tenant alleges the councillor pushed him twice, but he wasn’t hurt.

Max Khan is charghed with two counts of assault and will be in court in Milton next month.
