18-Yr.-Old Shot In Drive-By In Etobicoke

An 18-year-old man was shot in a drive-by Saturday night in Etobicoke.

Police were called to 609 The East Mall around 7pm after reports of shots fired. When they arrived at the scene, officials found the young man suffering from a gunshot wound in the right buttock. He was rushed to hospital where he was treated and later released.

Authorities searched for evidence around a parking lot dumpster on the East Mall near Rathburn Road. A suspect has been taken-in for questioning but there’s no word yet on charges.
