Celtics Tune Raptors To Maintain Perfect Home Record

The Boston Celtics improved to a perfect 10-0 at home with a commanding 112-84 win over the injury-depleted Toronto Raptors on Friday night.

Kevin Garnett led the way with 23 points while Paul Pierce had 18 and Ray Allen had 13.

The Celtics are the hottest team in the league and they boast their best home start since kicking off the 1984-85 season with a perfect 12-0 record.

Anthony Parker led the Raptors with just 13 points – a testament to the lack of firepower they exhibited.

T.J. Ford, Joey Graham and Juan Dixon had 12 each.

Toronto were fighting an uphill battle from the opening tip off, playing without two of their best players in Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani.

“They just drilled us,” Raptors coach Sam Mitchell said. “Got guys injured. Got guys in and out of the lineup. It’s just tough.”
