Concern Grows For Missing 83-Year-Old

Where in the world is Michael Chesterman? That’s what York Regional Police and his desperate family want to know. The 83-year-old disappeared from his Georgina home on Monday and hasn’t been seen since.

His frantic family began an all-out search for him when he didn’t return and finally called police for help. They’ve set up a command post in Keswick and with the bad weather and the passage of time, concerns are mounting about the safety of the senior.

There are fears Chesterman could have become confused and disoriented and may not have any idea where he is. Now his loved ones are turning to you for help. The missing man is described as:

  • White,
  • 5’9″,
  • Thin,
  • Grey hair, balding on top.

He was last seen wearing a black nylon coat and white running shoes.

Authorities are asking anyone who lives in the area to check their properties, yards and garages for any sign of the elderly man. If you see him or think you know where he might be, call 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7341 right away.
