Man Suffers Only Minor Injuries After Three Car Crash On 401

A man escaped with only minor injuries after a three car crash on the 401 Friday.
It happened around midnight, when police allege a driver tried to get on the 427 at the last minute.
That started a chain reaction that sent one person to hospital.
“A young driver, male, struck the pole nose here, lost control, struck another van, and that van was hauling a trailer, and that trailer swung out and hit a third vehicle. Minor injuries. The male driver who struck the bull nose initially was taken to hospital for minor injuries,” reports OPP Sgt. Rob Spolstra.
There’s no word on charges.
