Oscar Buzz For Anne Hathaway?

One of the most talked about films at TIFF08 is Rachel Getting Married. It stars Anne Hathaway as Kym, a troubled woman just out of rehab who’s attending her sister Rachel’s wedding. Hathaway’s performance is unlike anything you’ve seen her do before and she’s already garnering Oscar buzz for it.
I asked Hathaway about the process of shooting the film at a press junket yesterday. Watch for that story to appear in the TIFF08 features section later. Also had the chance to speak with her costar Rosemarie DeWitt about the film – DeWitt plays Rachel.
Look for this film to appear on a few critics’ Best of 2008 lists.
