They don’t have a suspect. And they don’t have a victim. What police do have is video surveillance that captured not only the sound of gunshots, but what appears to be a shooting victim hobbling away from the scene in obvious distress.
Their investigation began on Wednesday October 15th when they received a call reporting gunshots fired outside an apartment complex at 3181 Eglinton Avenue E. near Markham Rd.
Police haven’t managed to track down anyone involved with the alleged crime, but they’re hoping the video footage will lead them to a suspect, and more importantly, the apparent victim. He’s described as black, mid 20’s, 5’10” – 6′, medium to stocky build, cornrows, and possibly has a slight goatee.
He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
If you see him, police warn not to approach him as he’s known to carry a weapon.
