Ticket Prices Slashed By 17 Per Cent For Bills Game In Toronto

If you haven’t already bought tickets to the 2010 Buffalo Bills game in Toronto it looks like you did well to wait.

Citing “challenging economic times,” organizers announced Monday that tickets would be slashed by an average of 17 per cent from last year, with 36,000 seats selling for less than they did at that time.

Tickets will go for between $99-$275, topping out at $495 for the VIP seats. Only the 100 seats that went for $75 last year will go up in price to $99.

As for the game itself, the date and opponent will be announced Tuesday.

Last year’s tickets were priced from $75 to $295 with VIP tickets soaring up to $575, leading to some empty Rogers Centre seats among the 54,000 available for football.

The Bills’ average ticket price at Ralph Wilson Stadium is US$51, putting them among the cheapest in the NFL.
