Police have arrested a second suspect for the murder of a 22-year-old man who tried to stop a robbery back in August.
Zabiullah Mojaddedi and a friend came to the aid of two people who were being mugged near Gilder Drive and Eglinton Avenue East.
A struggle ensued and the suspects allegedly discharged their weapons, killing Mojaddedi.
One man, 25-year-old Tristan Lall, was arrested eight days later and charged with first degree murder.
But it wasn’t until Friday that detectives caught the second man, 18-year-old MacGyver Edwards.
He appeared in court Saturday to face a charge of first-degree murder.
