Man Dies In Hospital Following Weekend Banquet Hall Shooting

A man injured in a weekend shooting has died.
Alton Reid (pictured), 35, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
Toronto Police were called to the Atlanta Banquet Hall at 1240 Ellesmere Road early on Sunday morning.
Officers believe that approximately 200 people were at the banquet hall for a birthday party when several gunshots were fired.
When emergency crews arrived around 3:20am, Reid and four other people were rushed to hospital. Reid had obvious signs of trauma, but the others’ injuries were not life-threatening.
