Woman dead after getting hit by bus at Durham College

A woman was fatally struck by a GO Transit bus Friday morning in front of Durham College.
According to investigators, the 69-year-old was crossing the bus loop on Simcoe St., just north of Taunton Rd., at around 8:30 a.m. when she was hit.
The victim was not a student or teacher at the college.
The school lowered its flag in respect for the victim.
Police have not yet identified the woman.
