Westbound Hwy. 403 re-opens at Dundas after nearly seven-hour closure

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – All lanes have re-opened on westbound Highway 403 at Dundas Street after a serious crash forced a nearly seven-hour closure, Tuesday.
A garbage truck lost a pair of tires around 4:30 a.m. when a car slammed into one of the wheels and rolled into the ditch.
The man was ejected from the vehicle.
He was airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto where he underwent emergency surgery.
Provincial police told 680News the man is in serious, but stable condition.
