A man was stopped and questioned by security at Pearson International Airport because of his unusual height enhancers.
The 27-year-old man caught authorities’ attention at a security check point Tuesday after batteries and metal plates were found inside his shoes. The traveler insisted he placed the items in his shoes to make him look taller.
After about six hours of questioning, police determined the man posed no threat and he was released without charge and allowed to continue on his way.
