Jose Bautista hit two home runs as the Toronto Blue Jays cruised by the lowly Baltimore Orioles 8-2.
Bautista’s first homer was a 3-run shot in the first. He added his league-leading 30th homer in the eighth.
Vernon Wells added a two-run double in the fourth.
Ricky Romero allowed two runs over 7-plus innings. He struck out eight for his eighth win of the season.
Yunel Escobar added some pizzazz to the win. He caught a ball in the fifth, spun his glove behind his back and tossed it to Aaron Hill for an out.
The 11 straight victories over Baltimore is the now second-longest Toronto streak against a single opponent.
