Canadian government to provide support in Indonesia

The Canadian government has announced it will be providing humanitarian support to those affected by the recent natural disasters in Indonesia.

Canada will donate $100,000 to the International Red Cross to help with the assistance of the nearly 30,000 people affected by an earthquake, tsunami and volcanic eruptions that have taken place over the last month.

The support will provide non-food items, emergency shelter materials, health services, and access to portable water and emergency latrines.
