Man Allegedly Driving Wrong Way Charged After Pedestrian Hit

Toronto police have charged a 19-year-old Mississauga man in a hit-and-run in Kensington Market early Sunday morning.
Officers say shortly after midnight, the accused was driving the wrong way down Augusta Avenue when he hit a 47-year-old man.
He ditched his vehicle nearby, but turned himself in a short time later.
The pedestrian had serious but non-life-threatening injuries, including a broken collarbone.
Alexander Harasimowicz has been charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He appeared in court on Sunday morning.
